<p>You may already be relaxed, since you’ve woken up from a sleep state. But in the case that you’re not, consciously focus on relaxing each part of your body, starting from your toes and moving to your forehead.

<p>Your body contains a chakra center, filled with potent energy, in the middle of your forehead. Astral Projection Techniques to Travel Beyond Most of the astral projection techniques used to induce a state of consciousness that’s conducive to astral projection rely on lucid dreaming. When you have a lucid dream, you have some awareness that the reality you are experiencing is a dream. You can even learn to control what you do and what happens in your dreams. Lucid dreams can occur during regular sleep; many people experience this phenomenon without trying. Astral projection techniques rely on lucid dreaming because it is a simple and easy way to access the subconscious. The following astral projection techniques can be used by those who are ready to experience the wonders of astral projection. The techniques rely on your ability to access your subconscious mind through your dreams and your energy. Wake-Induced Lucid Dreaming (WILD): This technique involves stepping into the dream state with full conscious awareness. It is easiest to apply the WILD technique following four to seven hours of undisturbed sleep; depending on how much sleep you usually get, at this point you’ve slept sufficiently to return to your normal waking state, but you’ve had less sleep than usual. If you can program your subconscious to wake you up 2-3 hours prior to the time you usually get up, that is ideal, but if you can’t, then you may try setting an alarm. When you have a lucid dream, you have some awareness that the reality you are experiencing is a dream. You can even learn to control what you do and what happens in your dreams. Lucid dreams can occur during regular sleep; many people experience this phenomenon without trying. Astral projection techniques rely on lucid dreaming because it is a simple and easy way to access the subconscious.  </p>
<p>The following <strong>astral projection techniques</strong> can be used by those who are ready to experience the wonders of astral projection. The techniques rely on your ability to access your subconscious mind through your dreams and your energy. </p>

The subtle difference is that in this case, you train yourself to remember that you are dreaming. You can remain sleeping while using this technique.  As you sleep and experience a dream, you’ll have trained yourself to identify what is happening and move forward from that point. Training yourself to do so involves thinking about your dreams while you are conscious. Try placing your conscious self in a dream you’ve had recently. You can also repeat an affirmation to remember you are dreaming the next time it happens. The key to identifying the dream state lies in very subtle clues that you can teach yourself to notice. Once you enter the lucid dream state, which is similar to self-hypnosis, you can move forward with astral projection.</li>

You may look for some of the other symptoms that you may experience. These include strange voices in your head. Some of these voices may be downright scary and may tell you not to proceed and attempt astral projections.</p>

You will also experience lightheadedness and a sense of all pervading calm. You may not even experience any stress or anxiety for several days after you have had an astral projection. This all-pervading sense of peace and calm is almost always inexplicable. Though you will experience the peace and calm spreading inside you, you may not have done anything special to trigger it off. This is one of the most therapeutic effects of having an astral projection.</p>
<p>Another symptom that many people experience is seeing a long tunnel and a bright light at the end of it. Some people also experience this light in a different manner. They may feel the light inside of them, spreading inside their own body.</p>

<p>You may also have a racing heart and a warm feeling on the heart chakra. You may also experience intense vibrations around your heart in the central part of your chest. Some people experience very slight vibrations which are not always observable. As you have longer projections, these vibrations tend to get stronger, so you may not experience the vibrations in the first few projections, but as the projections grow stronger so will your vibrations.</p>
<p>Sleep paralysis is a slightly advanced sign of having an outer body experience. Unlike some of the other symptoms that you experience after having had a projection, these symptoms occur before you perform astral travel. This is a condition where you feel completely relaxed and are sleeping, but are still aware of all that is occurring around you. This usually occurs before you enter into the vibrational state.</p>
