Awaken Your Astral Body through Astral Projection
Astral projection is a tool that allows you to explore a new realm of consciousness. When this happens, the physical body is left behind. Generally speaking, astral projections are very similar to out-of-body experiences (OBEs). However, OBEs are most often documented as a result of near death experiences, when a person is knocked out of his or her body as a result of some kind of heavy trauma such as a car accident, heart attack, surgery, or a strong emotional event such us a child birth. Astral projections might be viewed as a carefully controlled out-of-body experience, where the traveler has made all of the necessary preparations to enter into the astral realm.
Many people have some significant reservations about leaving behind the material world, and rightly so. As an astral traveler, you are free to visit the astral world whenever you want – but you will always return to your body after some period of time. It is natural to be concerned with the sensations your physical self will experience as your astral body emerges, and once it leaves.
Your Physical Body Versus Your Astral Body: What’s the Difference?
Your physical self is made up of tangible matter. Although it houses a vast amount of energy, the human form is subject to the limitations of physics. In your normal waking life you aren’t able to defy gravity, move through physical objects, or feel the weightlessness of flight. In addition, the physical body is subject to the feeling of pain – accidents, illnesses, and diseases can all affect how you feel. The restrictive nature of the physical world makes astral travel a rewarding and even liberating experience.
Unlike your physical self, your astral body is not tangible. It doesn’t come attached to the normal bodily sensations you experience. Instead, it is an expression of your essence, or your higher self. Composed of potent cosmic energy, this “body” is the vessel by which you can travel freely within the astral realm of the universe.
For those seeking to learn how to astral project, it is extremely important to educate yourself prior to initiating an out-of-body experience. In order to ensure that your first experience is comfortable and successful, you should be aware of all of the potential physical sensations that you may experience as you leave your body.

Although you have nothing to fear when you leave your earthly body, as a new experience astral projection can occasionally bring you out of your comfort zone. When you’ve experienced the removal of the astral body from the physical self several times, you will begin to feel totally at ease undertaking astral projection.
What Happens to Your Body When You Astral Project?
The experience of leaving your body behind as you astral project might be slightly uncomfortable when you first experience it. This doesn’t mean astral projection is unsafe. The only reason that some experience discomfort is due to the newness of the entire experience. Just as a child learning to ride a bike for the first time might be overwhelmed by the rushing of the air on their face or the seemingly wobbly two wheels, first-time astral projectors might experience similarly novel physical sensations. It’s important to remember that you have nothing to worry about in the astral world. Your physical body will remain unharmed in the material world even as you leave it behind.
While in the act of leaving your body for the first time, you might experience certain physical sensations as your astral body emerges. Tingly limbs and extremities, a feeling of pressure in the forehead or at the temples, the sensation that you’re falling, or the feeling that your body is going stiff are all normal physical reactions to astral projection. The important thing is to remain focused on continuing with the astral projection, and not to feel startled by any unusual physical sensations that you might have – these are totally normal. Furthermore, directing your attention towards these feelings will inhibit you from entering the astral plane.
Laying the groundwork for astral projection is an intensive process. However, the experience of astral projection is guaranteed to be unlike anything you’ve ever encountered in the physical realm. Imagine yourself soaring over vast valleys, floating through outer space, or plunging to the depths of the ocean – all of these marvels are possible via astral travel. All you need to do is take some time to prepare yourself for your astral journey.
Get ready for astral travel.
